Even when the same tooth is treated, the problem can recur if the underlying cause has not been resolved.

Q2I was told my crown needs to be replaced. Is replacement always necessary?+
Not every crown needs to be replaced.

However, if underlying decay, loss of adhesion, fracture, or gum inflammation is found, re-treatment may be necessary.

What matters is making that decision only after an accurate diagnosis.

Q3Do implants ever need to be treated again?+
Yes, they do.

Re-treatment is sometimes needed not because of the implant itself, but because of the restoration, its position, or changes in the gum and bone.

When the cause is analyzed accurately, the existing implant can often still be used.

Q4My front tooth is broken. Does it have to be extracted?+
It depends on where the fracture is and how much tooth structure remains.

Some cases can be preserved with root canal and prosthetic treatment, but extraction may be necessary when the fracture extends deep into the root.

After an accurate diagnosis, we always consider the most conservative option first.
